c & C Chicago. week 12. the arrival

Just in the nick of time at the end of week 12, we are able to upload pictures! Our awesome friend BW (lighting designer in last week's post) lent us his battery charger, so that we could upload our photos.

We cannot believe there was a tight rope walker in B-lo. That makes it almost ok that you moved there :) Up on that rope he looks c size. Maybe c n.f. should learn to walk the line? (just a thought)

As we mentioned at the end of last week your care package arrived!

c had been going down to the mail box each day to check and on the perfect day, there was a letter addressed to C from C. c ripped open the letter (which took some time it was half her size) and found inside a mini letter addressed to her!
And so, after a rough couple of days we, C&c, sat together in a red chair and enjoyed our care package! You both are the best of friends and made us glad to be of the world.

A couple years ago I created a toy theatre piece to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Blondin

crossing the gorge...  I shared this with c,  it was her first encounter with two of my passions:  Blondin and

Toy Theatre.

Today Didier Pasquette will be crossing between the two liberty statues in downtown Buffalo to

commemorate the work of Blondin...

Can't wait.

C Chicago. week 12. (save c!)

dear c, C & friends,
c & I have things we would like to share with you all. However, it turns out that the battery charger for my camera was stolen along with every other little important thing (save c!) and I am not sure how we will get photos onto the computer. Hopefully something will be figured out by the end of week 12.

i recently visited our good friend raham.

sweetest things in d.C. are...

the longest esCALATOr in the world...

it basically takes days to get to the top.

a guy on the street playing a kazoo...

the ford theatre were Lincoln was shot...

and a painting of N.F. that hung in the home were Lincoln died.

C and c. week 11. a care package arrives on the perfect day.

Just at the moment that we had entered into that awful pit stage of self pity and sadness, realizing every little item that was in the bag when it was stolen....your letters came! We are the luckiest c(C)'s.

c Chicago. week 11. part 3. I COULDA BEEN STOLEN

Last evening C was out thrift shopping for the Helen of Troy show when her car window was smashed and bags stolen along with phone. My concern is that my favorite bag of travel was stolen. How will I get around now! I am going through the first stage of emotions. fear and disillusionment.
