 I rushed to your apartment to investigate if you have actually been living there this whole time.

no response.

I ran to the backyard

 no one there...

up your back porch

maybe an extraterrestrial explanation for this?

I woke up this morning with a start.
Yesterday you felt truly beside me.
Has this entire blog been a dream?

In some sort of Fight Club/M. Night Shyamalan delusional twist?
Did you never move away?  Have you been with me this whole time?

dear c, our one year anniversary is the end of this week, propelling us into the c new year.

C's friend Nick greeted her today with "Happy Anniversary!".

She was pretty psyched to find out that he was up to date with the blog.

I wonder how many people out there know about us!

C and I  spent the afternoon at the Montrose Beach.  I am feeling nostalgic for our origins.  I so enjoyed our first photo shoot; you, me, and the 2 big C's tromping around Chicago taking our pictures with Lorado Taft sculptures.  

Although it was a lovely day at the beach, all I could think about was how I missed you.

 While looking out across Lake Michigan, imagining it was the ocean and you were on the other side, I could almost feel your presence with me.

 Struck with this intense need to reconnect, C and I jumped on her bike and rushed to the place of our first photo shoot ever. 

I am sure you remember.  Eternal Silence at Graceland.  How could we ever forget?  We were kicked out of the cemetery for being disrespectful.  In some ways I am glad it was closed when I arrived...that security guard was intense!

I could swear I felt you right beside me.  

What could this mean?!  Are you here?!

c chicago. week 51. our first c-day

Happy c-day to you my dear c!!

I hope Big C London took you back and celebrated our c-day with you!

Big C Chicago asked me to join her for some birthday festivities in Cape Cod!

While I turned the big 1st c-day, C's Grandmother turned 90!

 Us birthday girls decided to celebrate our c-day's together.  

I also got to meet more of Big C's family.  I had meet the Donovan side already, but got to meet the Warren's!  I met her 2nd cousins Zoe & Liv, who live in Vienna.

Livi and I totally hit it off, like 2 peas in a pod!

Maybe I can go visit them someday in Europe (and stop on my way to visit you in London of course!!)
