c london. week 30. celebrity..

i was put in the position where two english children were asked to rate me out of 10.

after they analyzed me in long deep thought one said,  "9.5"

then the other, "i would have to say 9.5 as well"

they went on to ask C "do you do celebrities?"

if i were a celebrity would i have been rated a 10?

i received an unmarked letter in the mail this week...

inside was a keyhole, and nothing else.   not sure what to do yet.

the weather here is chilly, and gray.

i feel like i have seen that toy theatre of yours before in a dream.

I finished building this great theatre from a typewriter case.  It is perfect for doing a show with mini mini c.   But c, and our friends out there, I cannot think of what to perform.  I am stuck.

 

I was going to originally do a piece in which I mocked C for being such a busy-work-a-holic.

But lately we have been getting along pretty well (time will tell).

Does anyone have any suggestions for something for me to work on?

I think I have a bit of urban malaise.

Or maybe more specifically, Chicago winter, no sun, always dark by 5 -malaise.

 

What's the weather like in London?

Maybe I will just go back to space.

c Chicago. week 28. einstein in my dream!

i woke with a start!
all i can remember is that Einstein and mini mini c were having a secret meeting in which Einstein told mini mini c the secret equation of space travel.

maybe this is a sign that I need to send mini mini c to space first? but she doesnt have legs!

i wish i could go back to bed.

c Chicago. week 28. insomnia

i have not heard from him since the day in the car.
i cannot sleep.
i try to keep myself busy planning my next trip into space.I am considering alternative means of transport.
Been reading up on the new thoughts on wormholes and the fundamentals of Einstein and time and space. Nothing seems right yet. Maybe I should just go to space in the Colbert Report desk.....C!!!!!!


p.s. Your apartment sounds perfect for you. The moss there seems comfy and a great color! Good speed on the job search! I am jealous of your english nook. Wish you were here to talk to. Maybe we should skype?

C London. week 28.

Best thing about london so far is national health care.

I went to the doctor's for a check-up today and it was FREE!

c London. week 28. c size flat.

last week we went in search of a flat to live in.  you would not believe how many "c sized" flats there are here.  they are perfect for people our size.  i thought we had found me a nice place to live... until i realized it was for H, C and i.

though our apartment IS c sized... we saw some that were mini mini c sized!

we lucked out, there are some really great things about it.  my favs are the key to get in...the 10 foot glass doors and the beautiful green c sized garden on our balcony.

below is the nook that i now spend my days on the interwebs looking for a job.  it is slow... next week i may need to change up my tactic.

this week c i have been thinking about love.

B's mother gave me a heart necklace that says I Love You and I have been wearing it as an anklet since Christmas morning. i went to see the play C's been working on, Somebody Loves You, Mr. Hatch at Lifeline, and at the climax of the story the entire audience yells out "Everybody Loves You, Mr. Hatch" and saying those words made Mr. Hatch happy and me happy just in saying them out loud.
(I posted pix of me backstage after the show on facebook.)

I wonder who loves me? And c, ever since I met that boy mini cc, I keep thinking of him. Is that love? It seems different from how I love you. I feel funny on the inside. Is that love?
When will I get to see him again?

hi c,

i very much want to share a post with you.

but C has misplaced her camera battery charger

hopefully we will resolve this by the end of today.

she is trying to convince me that we can use her new cell phone to take the pictures.

that seems way sub-par to me.

C says to tell you that she and B have stayed for a week in a hostel in London.

She remembers the decor ;)

Glad to hear on facebook that you have found a home. Cannot wait for more pix.

c London. week 27. yellow stained road...

oh c...

i am sure you are waiting in anticipation to see how my first week in London has been.

we stayed in a hostel for three days while looking for a flat.

i was immediately home sick.

what pressure it is, knowing you must like a place you have never been to before because now it is your new home.

my first impression... the carpet in the hostel.

enough said.

day two in London i stepped out in the sunshine and it was beautiful.

i can't wait to see where this city takes me.

After Christmas with B's family, B, C and I were off to the Adirondack mountains once again. 3rd time in the past 26 weeks! You remember my week 22 post about snow? Well now Lake Abanakee in it's entirety is frozen!
It looks remarkably like how I imagined the surface of moon (soon c, soon!).
The sun was shining brightly that day and the sounds coming from the ice cracks were like huge pipes bubbling or a gigantic frog clearing its throat.
It was awesome!
B, C and I decided to create a snow shadow portrait. What is that chomping on my leg, you ask?


That crazy dog Aubrey from week 8. She still seems to love kissing me!

Cannot wait for your next post. What an adventure C & H have taken you on.

c Edinburgh. week 26.

haven't even seen london yet.  C kept me packed away in her luggage while we flew into london on tuesday for the day.  next thing i know i wake up in the most amazing city i have ever been to.  edinburgh scotland.  H & C are on there honeymoon this week, and i am lucky enough to tag along.

hogmanay (new years) in edinburgh... imagine a torchlight procession of thousands, led by vikings through the streets of edinburgh.  we paraded up to a castle topped mountain to celebrate and burn a viking longship!

will actually be in london next week.  should be awesome.
